In Siraaj Al Baahitheen, Shaykha Kawthar Al Khooli mentions three additional parts of speech that are relevant to this chapter. She mentions about them that "they contribute either directly or indirectly towards the communication between the student and teacher and many do not give any attention to them."

What tools might she be referring to?

Great job! The brain is used to understand the rules but it also functions in direct relation to the third tool (which is missing) regarding sound.

Tayyib. Aisha mentioned that the brain interprets the sounds made by the vocal cords which results in us understanding the speech. Which medium is used for communication to the brain about different signals?

Right. So back in October we did a brief overview of speech anatomy and we discussed several organs involved. Tying in last week's lesson, which part(s) actually influences the shape of the sound?
